I’m Phill, the owner of Dappa Detailing, providing professional mobile valeting, detailing and repair services across Ipswich, Suffolk and the surrounding areas. With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, I bring expert care directly to your home or workplace — fully insured, friendly and always focused on quality.

I began valeting at 18 after leaving art college, where my attention to detail and love of great design naturally shaped my approach to car care. Since then, I’ve worked across valeting, detailing, SMART repairs and bodywork, even running my own bodyshop in Yorkshire before returning to Suffolk. Over the years I’ve owned everything from a Lancia Delta Integrale and Subaru Impreza to a Honda S2000 and a Fiesta XR2 — so I understand what it means to truly appreciate a car.

Before returning back to Suffolk, I ran my own bodyshop in Yorkshire, refining my skills in paintwork, repairs and restoration. It wasn’t a new tiny scratch! I had only had it for 3 months and I was quoted astronomical prices to have it fixed or the door replaced. Phill came over and took the time to not only fix this, but another scratch and a wing mirror knock while he was waiting for other things to dry!
